About us
The company, a subsidiary of the Teck Guan Group based in Tawau, Sabah, began as a cocoa cultivation pioneer in the 1950s. It expanded into cocoa product manufacturing in 1975 and completed oil palm plantings in 2007. Its growth is driven by innovative management, a dedicated workforce, quality products, research and development, and a strong marketing and distribution network.

The company, initially established as Creative Balance Sdn Bhd in Malaysia on July 11, 1994, transitioned to a public limited company and was renamed Teck Guan Perdana Berhad in 1995. It has three wholly-owned subsidiaries: Cacao Paramount Sdn Bhd, which processes cocoa products and trades palm kernel oil; Majulah Koko Tawau Sdn Bhd, which processes and sells cocoa products; and Tawau Cocoa Estate Sdn Bhd, which owns cocoa and oil palm plantations.
